Parents

We are so glad you are here.  At MPS we understand the vital role you play as parents in your child's education. We welcome your involvement which provides opportunities to:

• get acquainted with educators who have the responsibility of teaching your children;
• learn how  your schools operate and are funded;
• learn what is being taught to your children;
• lend a helping hand with student activities supervision; and
• give extra attention to students.

When parents support their schools, they reinforce a number of valuable messages for their children, such as responsibility, accountability, respect for rules and respect for others, especially those in authority.  School is actually an extension of the family, where the sole purpose is to prepare young people to take their place in our global society.  As educators, our goal will always be to work together with parents to create an educational environment which enables every child to grow successfully into adulthood.
