The curriculum of McAlester Public Schools encompasses what we want students to know and be able to do after a specific course of study.  Oklahoma's Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) provide the roadmap and MPS educators are charged with the responsibility of guiding students on their personal journey from Pre-K through grade 12.  The curriculum is continually improving so that it is articulated from grade to grade and is designed to prepare students for post-secondary education or an easy transition to the workforce.  In addition to a strong core curriculum, additional offerings allow exploration of personal interests and provide opportunities for development of talents and individual abilities.
