My name is Vanessa Cummings. I graduated from McAlester High School and  have been in the education field for over 27 years. I received my Bachelors and Masters from East Central University in Ada.  I taught Special Education for 22 years. This is my fourth year as principal at WGECC.

Shawn and I have been married for 12 years.  I have a step daugher, Bailey.  She is currently attending Northwestern University in Alva.

Working as a Principal at WGECC has been a blessing.  The faculty and staff are both professional and loving which creates a safe learning environment for the students.  The children bring a smile to my face daily.
