Basic Class procedures

Each class has basic procedures and steps for success.

1. Each day you earn 10 points per day for working and remaining on task and cleaning up.

Grading breakdown: 50% Art projects, 30% daily grade/working in class, 20% semester final project

2. Late work is allowed on project deadlines for up to 5 class days after the due date. After that time and it is still not turned in, then it is officially late and can be turned in at any time but only receive 60% credit.

ABSOLUTELY NO UNFINISHED WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY TIME.

3. All materials will be provided for you, and plenty of time in class to complete. You may not take projects home ( unless in a blended class setting and approved by Ms. Benjamin). All work is done in class.

4. NO phones or earbuds are allowed in the classroom. The only exception is if you are watching a class video posted on Google classroom page for the class, and by permission of Ms Benjamin.

5. We will go over these procedures daily and have set routines for things in class, including proper cleanup, waiting at our chair for dismissal and storage of materials and projects. You will be shown what to do, and it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO DO YOUR PART AND BE A RESPONSIBLE STUDENT IN THIS CLASS.
