I have 27 years of educational experience. I have been a Wrestling Coach, Special Education Teacher, History Teacher, Assistant Principal for Instruction, Associate Principal at the high school level, Principal, Career and Technology Education Director, Curriculum Director and now Assistant Superintendent for Federal Programs, Personnel and Curriculum.
I am married to my wonderful wife Rachel and have two sons, Don Wise III and Daniel. My son, Don, has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and works at an Aerospace museum in Alabama; my other son has a degree in English and works as a teacher and coach in Texas. I have one pet, a staffordshire terrier, wonder dog, Jet Lee.
When not working I like to spend my time doing physical activities such as bagua zhang, weightlifting, jogging, hiking and fishing. I also like to travel to meet new people and learn about new places. I collect antique military memorabilia as a hobby and have artifacts from the 1800’s , WWI, WWII, and Vietnam war era.
