SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM 

 

The McAlester Public School is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which provides nutritious meals at no charge to Children during the summer vacation. Children aged 18 and under along with people up to 21 years old participating in state education programs for the mentally or physically disabled can receive summer meals, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, are eligible through the SFSP.

The following are the site locations and meal times: note some offer a breakfast and lunch, some only lunch and some only breakfast.

 

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB, Operating May 31, to July 29, 2022. 301 EAST CHADICK, MCALESTER, OK 74501. Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.  and Lunch from 11:45a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Closed:  May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day), Friday, July 1, Monday, July 4th (INDEPENDENCE DAY), WEEKENDS. 

 

EMERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Operating May 31 to June 30th.   301 EAST VAN BUREN, MCALESTER, OK, 74501.  Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Lunch from 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Closed: May 30 (Memorial Day), AND WEEKENDS.  Will also operate August 8 & 9 breakfast from 7:30 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. and lunch from 10:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

 

EUGENE FIELD BUILDING, Operating May 31 to June 30, 2022, 2801 North A Street, McAlester, OK  74501.  Breakfast from 7:45 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Lunch from 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Closed Memorial Day, July 1st and 4th.

 

GRAND AVENUE COMMUNITY CENTER, Operating May 31 to July 22, 2022. 918 EAST WASHINGTON, MCALESTER, OK, 74501. Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Lunch from 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Closed:  May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day), Friday, July 1, Monday, July 4th (INDEPENDENCE DAY), WEEKENDS. 

 

MCALESTER HIGH SCHOOL, Operating May 31 to June 30, 2022. 1 BUFFALO DRIVE, MCALESTER, OK, 74501. Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Closed: May 30 (Memorial Day), AND WEEKENDS. will also operate August 8th & 9th breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and Lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

 

MCALESTER PUBLIC LIBRARY, Operating May 31 to July 29, 2022. 401 NORTH 2ND STREET, MCALESTER, OK, 74501. Lunch (only) from 11:45 a.m. - 12:05 p.m. Closed: May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day), Friday, July 1, Monday, July 4th (INDEPENDENCE DAY), WEEKENDS.
 

PARKER INTERMEDIATE CENTER, Operating May 31 to July 29, 2022. 1310 NORTH 6TH, MCALESTER, OK, 74501. Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Lunch from 12:00 p.m. - 12:15 p.m.  Closed: May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day), Friday, July 1, Monday, July 4th (INDEPENDENCE DAY), WEEKENDS.  Will Also serve on August 8th and 9th breakfast at 8:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. and lunch from 12:00 p.m. - 12:15 p.m.

 

PUTERBAUGH MIDDLE SCHOOL, Operating May 31, to June 30, 2022. 1100 E. SOUTH STREET, MCALESTER, OK, 74501. Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Lunch from 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Closed:  Closed: May 30 (Memorial Day), AND WEEKENDS.  Will also operate on August 8th & 9th breakfast at 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and lunch from 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

 

JEFFERSON EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER, Operating May 31 to June 30, 2022.  501 South C Street, McAlester, OK  74501.  Breakfast from 7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.  Lunch from 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  Closed: May 30 (Memorial Day), AND WEEKENDS.  Will Also operate August 8th & 9th breakfast at 7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all the information requested in the form.
