McAlester Public Schools announces that Parker Intermediate Center has achieved an A on their Oklahoma School Report Card for academic year 2021-2022. This is the first report card report released from the State Education’s Office of Accountability since reporting was put on hold due to the pandemic. The Oklahoma Public School report card measures academic achievement, academic growth, English language proficiency progress, and chronic absenteeism.
“We are overjoyed with this achievement, and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and parents. The teachers at Parker are some of the most dedicated people that I have had the privilege of working with. They strive each and every day to provide the best possible education to our students and ensure that they have the tools they need to succeed." said Mrs. Jamie Price, Principal at Parker Intermediate Center.
The achievement of an A on the report card is not just a recognition of academic excellence, but also a reflection of the positive school culture that has been cultivated at Parker Intermediate Center. The faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to create an environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages students to reach their full potential.
MPS Superintendent Dr. Robert Steeber said, “We congratulate Mrs. Price, the faculty, staff, and students on this incredible achievement, and we look forward to seeing the continued success and growth at Parker Intermediate Center in the future.”
